It is mined and ground into fine powder to form a variety of products such as for dentistry, medicine, home and industrial uses. The more common use form is for dentistry which is mainly reproductions or replicas of oral structures such as casts and dies.

$16.90 – $24.90Gypsum is a traditional chinese technique for making tofu and is a refined food safe formula which is used as a tofu coagulant. A naturally occurring calcium sulfate, this gypsum powder is also used as food grade plasters model.
To make tofu, dissolve 3 teaspoons into half cup of hot water and stir quickly into 2 quarters of hot soymilk. Wait for 15 minutes allowing it to curdle before transferring to a tofu press.
