Calendula is a plant of the same species as Marigolds and is very often called Pot Marigold. It has been used for centuries for ornamental purposes, as well as culinary, cosmetic and medicinal reasons.

Calendula can be taken orally and used topically, and it is a very popular ingredient in heath and skin care products such as creams, lotions, shampoos.. etc.

It has strong anti-inflammatory properties, heals ulcers, wounds and haemorrhoids, as well as improves oral health. To make a brew, a brewing time of 15–20 minutes is recommended, depending on desired strength.
