Floral Roller Oil Bottles

Aromatherapy, also known as essential oil therapy, is the use of natural plant extracts to promote your health and well-being. It is known for improving your mind, body, and spirt through the sense of smell and skin absorption. Aromatherapy has been practiced throughout many cultures alike for thousands of years in balms, oils, as well as medical and religious purposes.

Today, aromatherapy comes in many different forms such as diffusers, bath salts, face and body creams, and clay masks. Essential oils can be used in many ways but because of its high concentration, they are not to be used directly on the skin – a carrier oil is required to dilute it before using it topically. There are over 100 variations of essential oils and each has its unique properties, you can even create a unique blend by combining each of them. Essential oil rollers are some of the easiest way to try a few essential oil blends.

In this tutorial, we will be creating floral essential oil rollers which are simple to make. Using a roller ball bottle helps you to apply your favorite essential oils blend onto your skin safely after diluting them with carrier oils.

Insert dried botanicals into your roller bottle and fill the roller bottle with your carrier oil. You can choose to use a pipette or funnel to fill the bottle. Then, add your essential oil blends to the roller bottle. Cap your contents and give it a light shake to even out the blend.

What You Will Need:

  • Dried Botanicals
  • Safflower Oil
  • Essential Oils of your choice
  • Roller bottles
  • Funnel or pipette

Notes:

  • Plan and measure your dried florals before inserting them into the bottle.
  • Play around with your own essential oil blends freely.
  • You can choose to use Jojoba or Coconut oil as your carrier oil too.
  • Do not over exceed the amount of essential oils to the carrier oil blend – check our scenting guidelines for more information.
