Do It Yourself Hair Wax Conditioning Balm

We love natural skin and body care products, but have you ever thought of making your own natural hair products? Store bought hair products usually contain lots of fixatives and chemicals which could lead to terrible hair loss if not well taken care of.

If you are looking to work on natural hair care products, here’s a recipe for you. Using natural and high quality ingredients not only help to keep your hair in shape, they also maintain shine, provide natural vitamins, and prevent hair loss.

Argan oil
Rich in vitamins and oxidants, this oil helps to moisturise your hair while protecting it from sun damage. It keeps the scalp healthy and improves thickness of hair by preventing hair loss and damages such as split ends.

Kokum Butter
Kokum Butter has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties which soothe damaged and inflamed scalp. It also promotes healthy skin cells by strengthening hair follicles for healthy hair growth as well as promotes strong roots.

Jojoba Oil
Jojoba oil helps maintain the scalp’s PH and can aid in dry itchy scalp such as managing dandruff. It provides shine and moisture to the hair as it penetrates easily while controlling frizz and prevents heat damage.

Beeswax
Beeswax is a staple ingredient in most cosmetics and is also beneficial for your hair by providing moisture, keeping hair smooth while treating scalp problems.

Mix the beeswax, butter and oils in a double boiler, allow them to melt completely then let the mixture cool before adding in your favourite essential oil blends.
