BAKING SODA & CASTOR OIL COMPRESS

Castor oil is often used in compresses because it has a strong effect on the circulation. All you need to prepare this compress is castor, plastic sheeting, clean gauze, water bottle or a hot water bottle, and a towel.

You can place them on wounds, bruises, and cuts to help them heal faster. It is also helpful in curing wrists that are injured by wrapping in castor oil overnight. Other benefits include relieve itching and pain from insect bites and stings, as well as pain in your lower back. Lastly, it can help bleach brown spots on your skin.

This is how to use them:

  • Clean your skin with a baking soda solution before and after the use of the compress.
  • Soak some gauze in heated castor oil and put it on the critical area.
  • Cover the area with foil and place a hot water bottle on it.
  • Wrap a towel over it and hold for at least one hour.
  • While holding the compress, find a comfortable position and relax.
